This policy describes what the iGrow News MCP service actually does with data — not what a template assumes. If something here does not match how the Service behaves, that is a bug in this document and we want to hear about it: hello@igrownews.com.
The iGrow News MCP service (the “Service”), at mcp.igrownews.com, is operated by
AgTech Media Group LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, registered at
651 N. Broad St., Suite 201, Middletown, DE 19709, United States.
AgTech Media Group LLC is the data controller for the personal data described below.
Contact us at hello@igrownews.com for anything in this policy, including to exercise any of the rights in Section 8. The postal address above is our registered company address; email reaches us considerably faster.
Deliberately little. The Service is a read-only data connector, not a website with accounts and tracking. Specifically:
We do not record the values you pass. Not your search terms, not the companies or investors you look up. Those never reach our logs. This is a deliberate choice made on 2026-08-19, and any values recorded before that date were permanently removed the same day.
We do not collect payment card details — those live entirely with Stripe. We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, session tracking, or any similar technology on our pages. We do not build profiles of you, sell your data, or use your usage of the Service for marketing.
This section applies whether or not you are a subscriber.
The Service answers questions from a database of AgTech industry information: news coverage, funding activity, company records, and a directory of organisations compiled from published industry sources such as trade-show exhibitor listings and industry directories. That database is about organisations, not private individuals.
Some of those records include business contact details — a company’s address, phone number,
website, or a role-based email address such as info@ or
sales@. Where source material contained the contact details of a
named individual, those are automatically removed before the data reaches our systems.
This runs on ingestion, every time, and is not a manual review step.
Our lawful basis for holding business contact information is legitimate interest in operating an industry information service. If you believe information relating to you personally appears in our database, write to hello@igrownews.com and we will remove it. You do not need to explain why, and we will not ask you to.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
The complete list. We add to it rarely, and this page is updated when we do.
One third-party request we should be straight about: our public pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google and Google therefore sees your IP address when you view them. It is not used to identify you by us, and we set no cookies, but it is a real request to a third party and you deserve to know it happens. We may self-host these fonts in future to remove it.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the processors above except where we are legally required to.
We are a United States company and our infrastructure is hosted in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your data is transferred to and processed there. Our processors operate under their own transfer mechanisms — typically Standard Contractual Clauses — for data originating in the EU, UK, or Switzerland.
Note that a backup taken before a deletion may still contain the deleted data until that backup expires on the 90-day cycle. We do not restore backups to recover data a person has asked us to erase.
Wherever you are, you can ask us to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, export it in a portable format, or object to or restrict how we use it. You can also withdraw consent where we rely on it, and complain to your data protection authority.
If you are in California: we do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.
Email hello@igrownews.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. We will not charge you, and we will not make you justify the request.
Access to the Service requires authentication on every request. Data is encrypted in transit. Access to the underlying database and to production credentials is limited to the people who operate the Service. Backups are stored privately and expire on a fixed schedule.
We will not overstate this: we are a small team, we hold no security certifications, and no system is immune. What we can tell you honestly is that the Service is read-only — it cannot modify or delete anything — and that we deliberately collect as little about you as the product permits, because data not collected cannot leak.
The Service is a professional tool sold to industry subscribers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.
We will update this page when what we do changes, and we will change the “last updated” date above. If a change materially affects how we handle your personal data, we will tell you by email or an in-product notice rather than relying on you to notice.
